Sacramental Preparation & Formation

Parents are encouraged to contact the parish office while they are expecting to register for Baptismal Preparation. Sessions are held on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. in January, March, May, July, September, and November.

If you would like to be part of the team to help new parents (or parents to-be) begin the awesome task of raising their child in relationship with God and the Catholic Church, contact the parish office at 419-826-2791.

First Reconciliation and Eucharist
Children are prepared to receive these sacraments for the first time during their second-grade year. This preparation includes parents as co-catechists, with the parish providing the materials, as well as retreat days for both parents and child. We encourage family celebrations of First Eucharist at the regularly scheduled weekend Masses during the Easter season.

The preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation begins in the 7th grade with students being confirmed in the spring of their 8th grade year. We also offer preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation for any High School youth who have not yet been confirmed.
